  • Theft description: I was away on course and left the bike locked to a D ring which was bolted to the wall of the storage room, MAB at HMAS HARMAN. When I returned the D ring had been ripped from the wall and the bicycle was missing. To date, the military or the police have done absolutely nothing to return the bicycle to me or prevent future thefts from the area. It is to my belief that the bicycle was stolen by Army personnel who were temporarily staying at the main accommodation block.

Stolen Bike Alert - Gt Aggressor 3.0, Aggressor 3.0, SNMNG E74 292, Southport, 4215 #stolenbike

  • Theft description: I came out of centrelink and bike gone,a woman sitting 5 to 10 metres away said I missed it by 30 seconds ,she said they went up towards the Southport hospital,so I ran to the end of the street,but the bike is too quick,I looked and saw it nowhere.This 2012 model GT Aggressor 3.0 is silver with blue,it has been extensively modified/upgraded.It has blue annodised Primo brand large platform pedals,a brand new FSA stem with a silver/chrome faceplate on the front of the stem to match in with the new upgraded 31.8mm (original gt bars and stem are 26mm,which I have)handlebars are X Tech brand full raw alluminum,with a black bell on the right,empty light mount left too,on the left there is an Akai mobile phone/gps holder a Tioga 3 watt light with a BBB led light as well.The front suspention forks have the original decals removed and blue Primo decals going down both sides of the forks,it has a WTB mtb seat grey & white in colour with black material on the back that says VIGO in white accross the back of the seat,this is very obvious to notice,the front wheel is the original Alex Dm25 double wall alloy rim with original innova small block style tyres 60% worn out.The rear wheel is a Kinlin MX5 clincher style aftermarket wheel with a new innova slick tyre fitted.It also has 8 cogs on the rear wheel(original that I have has 7 cogs as it is a 21 speed mtb,but the Kinlin rear has a shimano sealed mechanism hub(silver)8 cogs which means when changing gears you just miss out on the lowest cog as the shifters are shimano 7 speed EZfire triggers,and the WTB Vigo seat had a BBB branded saddle bag sitting under it with a gold crank bros multi tool,and punchure repair kit inside with two green vittorio tyre levers.There was a new 4 led rear usb charge light on the seat pole which is black in colour but the top of the pole was silver/alloy in colour.I had a blue valve cap on the front wheel,while the rear had a 30mm valve extention(silver)with silver valve cap.So as you can tell this bike has been modified alot and I have both matching wheels here and all original parts inc the Gt seat.I really hope someone spots and recovers this mtb and a decent reward will be given.Sorry the Gt Grind that was reported stolen was me clicking on the wrong bike and I have it in my possession.Sorry about that hassle to anybody,the description is for the 2012 Gt aggressor not the 2001 Gt Grind oldschool bmx.I hope all this detail helps find my dailly ride,thank you for reading.Grant Giorgi.

  • Description: The bike has brand new FSA stem (31.8mm upgraded)& a X Tech alluminum riser bar,front & rear lights,two on front for better visability for drivers(flashing 3 led)& headlight & a Tioga 3 watt light($49) Both are mounted on the handlebars on left side at night,but unclipped when bike is locked up.. (BBB brand are flashing front & rear$49set)Maxxis lock on grips aqua blue in colour,with a combination of maxxis & jetblack lock on rings black in colour($50inc extra rings)and the original GT bar ends,a Rav-X combo x 20 20mm security cable($40) plus a MasterLock Python 6’ adjustable locking cable 1.8metres long($50)Tnis long cable secures the wheels as they are quick release,and loops through the saddle rails, & an Akai mobile phone/gps holder/case mounted on the handlebars($40).I have now added a WTB vigo saddle,cr mo rails($100+)& a large BBB saddle bag($59),a black BBB alloy drink cradle($15)with a camelbak waterbottle,bite to drink for long rides($40)and a pedal nation air pump mounted on the frame($40).And a crank brothers m17 multi tool($40) If I change accessories I will update this discription.Wow extras add up as there is $500+ worth of accessories here,some are definately needed as they provide safety,hydration,some are tools and some make cycling more comfortable.Whatever your preferance,enjoy your riding.Now this Gt Aggressor 3.0 mtb was stolen from social security in Southport QLD. About 3.30pm Tuesday 5th Febuary,a bystander told me they went 30 seconds before i came out,the front forks have blue primo decals on silver original paint.Blue anno Primo supertenderizer pedals are also on the bike.Wtb vigo saddle was equipped with BBB bag containing a crank bros multi tool,puncture kit .This bike is recoginisable from the above mentioned mods.Anyone finds it will be given a reward.Thanks Grant.0468472290 or 0468324375(Eva).
